Volunteering roles on offer at Rānui Apartments

Gardening Heroes – Rānui Apartments opened in late November 2024 and we are looking for a couple of warm, open and empathetic people to help us keep our grounds looking beautiful. You will have a natural ability to relate well to people be they a patient, family member, or one of our team. Loads of initiative, a sense of humour and bright outlook on life in general along with a strong work ethic will see you fit in with our team well. Our gardens are still very new and we wish to ensure we take really good care of them as the families we serve enjoy our green spaces immensely.

Duties to include: –
General gardening duties – watering, weeding, sweeping paths clear
Lawn mowing
Trimming and rose pruning

Girl/Boy Friday – our front of house team always appreciate an extra pair of hands and help to make families feel welcome, you could be helping out in reception, showing new families to their apartments, answering the telephone, running parcels to rooms, organising drop-in donations, updating the database, tidying up the storeroom … the list is long, varied and no one day is the same!

Angels in Aprons – our Head Housekeeper is keen to meet volunteers who are available in the afternoon from around 4.00pm for a couple of hours to help in the laundry – if this sounds like you please get in touch.

These volunteer roles are available both weekends or weekdays, just let us know what suits you – guaranteed you will meet some super people and have a whole lot of fun.
