The Bone Marrow Cancer Trust and the Bone Marrow Cancer Research Trust are charitable trusts who rely on the generosity of donations from our community, grants from philanthropic trusts, bequests, businesses, and funds raised through events we run.

Friends of Rānui House are a group of caring, compassionate Kiwis who choose to donate on a regular basis. They understand that it is the practical things in life that matter when people are facing their medical journey away from home and that a home- away-from-home makes an enormous difference.
By giving a small amount each month, you can help us plan well into the future to ensure that families staying at Rānui House have everything they need from the moment they walk through our front door. As a Friend of Rānui House, you’ll receive updates with stories of impact, and a copy of our annual newsletter.

Fundraise for Rānui House

Whether you hold a sausage sizzle, run a marathon, organise a school mufti day, or ask for donations on your birthday – there are lots of creative ways you can help support keeping families together while their loved one is in hospital away from home.
Rānui House – you certainly live up to your name. We will be eternally grateful for having had somewhere so warm and welcoming to call home, somewhere we could all stay together as a family for the four long and challenging months of our son’s treatment.

Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving makes it easy for an employee to make regular donations to the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust and Rānui House, or our Bone Marrow Cancer Research Trust, directly from their wages each pay cycle. The amount nominated is deducted directly from salary or wages with an immediate tax credit upon each donation.
It’s easy to set up with the employer and can be alternated in value or duration upon the employees instruction at any point.
Bequests – A Legacy of Love
Leave a lasting gift for generations to come.
Leaving a bequest to support sick children and/or adults and their families is a special commitment that creates a lasting impact and truly makes a difference to the families at Rānui House.
By leaving a gift to the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust in your will, you are bestowing a ‘Legacy of Love’ and hope to Kiwi families by making sure they are taken care of while they face the fight of their lives.
Your gift can be a specific sum, a percentage of your estate or even a specific property or asset. How your gift is used is up to you. You may be happy for us to use your bequest where it is needed most or wish to choose an area that is special to you.
To create or update your current will, it is best to seek assistance from your family solicitor or a trustee company, such as the Public Trust or Perpetual Guardian Trust. They will help you create a will that reflects your wishes.
